Hi,
I filed my 485 in Dec 2004.My PD is June 2004.
Got married in 2005.
If (Less Probability..) i get my 485 approved and not able to add my Spouse's to my 485.
What would be my Options.
Please advice.
if you got married before the approval of I-485 you can file for your spouse's 485 even after your 485 id approved. Search for "follow to join" clause, this has it covered.

Hi,
My H1-B got Accepted but I didnt recieved my I-94. I completed my masters here. There are no status issues. My OPT will expire on Dec 27.
I applied for H1-B amendment under Premium processing but i got query of Company documents and 2004, 2005 paystubs.
My employer answered them that employee is not there in the usa in those years. Below is the response from USCIS
Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed.
On October 09, 2008, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.
Usually How many days it will take under premium processing? Because my OPT EXPIRES ON DEC 27.

When you reach NSC or TSC, you talk to an IO. Who really is an IO? Are they first line of customer service at the centers? They then send requests etc to officers handling your cases?

This item deals with "Wage per week " in this field after i checked out my application lawyer gave the whole years income instead of weeks income. as i enquired he said even though "/year" is ideal to mention immigration officers know that this amount is same as that of Labor and thats not an issue . any comments please?

it is nothing but an employer letter in which you need to specify your designation and your continuation of your employment with that company. I sent the same letter for H4 stamping to my spouse.

Education evaluation is just equating your qualification with American qualification. Just telling your bachelor degree is equivalent to BS here. Once equal...always equal. So it doesn't expire.

I have AOS and was recently laid off from my job. As I haven't found another job by the removal-from-payroll deadline, my H1B will expire. My question is, once I get my EAD, can I apply for a new H1B. The motivation is that I can bring a spouse over on a dependant visa only on H1B but not on AOS. How should I work this out?
