Even Muslims in Gujarat have started realizing congress is good for nothing.Congress just makes promises that it never keeps up.Uses opportunistic politics.well of course you create opportunities that are helpful to people which will bring prosperity along with awareness.Increased awareness among masses means end to dynastic rule.So why keep up promises and shoot your self right?
On the other hand Modi who doesn't even need Muslim votes in Gujarat has worked for overall development. In terms of this Imam from Gujarat;
'Seeing him work for two or three years after the riots, Muslims too felt they had an opportunity to prosper in the peaceful environment that Modi government was creating. Apparently there this group called ,'Tablighis ' who have foreign funding ( which was of course was checked by Modi govt) working towards keeping the hatred alive.It's anybody's guess who benefits from such hatred apart from congress party.

Growth was aided by high demand for export. I've met couple of guys who came on L1 and have filed GC in EB1. they are simply project managers and exploited this loop hole... I'd raised this issue earlier but was scoffed stating that I would have done the same if I would have been at their place...Felt like slapping the guy who made this stupid comment.
Given that we have played by the rules, lets prevent any kind of fraud to make sure that there is FIFO.....

If we reach a critical mass of 50 people - "genuine" people - then it is a good start - the first step can be to look for the best lawyer for this kind of issue. This need not be an immigration lawyer if I am not wrong.
A main team of 5 people can lead this and form a mailing list to include the interest parties.

AILA has reported that when Rep. Lofgren issued a letter to Secretary Chertoff, she also disclosed that "It has also come to my attention that USCIS began returning visa numbers to the State Depaartment as early as Thrusday, July 5, 2007." It could be the answer to our question why they are holding July filing cases and why they stopped adjudicating 485 cases for which they pull out the numbers before July 2, 2007. What a mess!

I guess there should be some T-Shirt to wear when going to Walmart or desi shop which says "Amway leaches keep away (some slogan)" to put these desi Amway guys to shame.
When I moved to Cali about 2 yrs back from the midwest, I saw a guy at a desi store in the bay area who looked very similar to an old school friend whom I have not seen in 14 yrs. I went upto him and started talking to him asking if he was the same guy, He insulted me and avoided me like the plague. In midwest, I have not had any similar exp when I have tried stiking any conversation with a desi, so I was shocked. Then my BIL who had been living in the bay area for a while tole me about amway cons being in huge numbers and the fact that Desis do not trust anyone in the bayarea who appear friendly and the probable reason why this guy behaved the way he did. It is sad that we cannot be friendly to our own countrymen.

I agree with some senior members when they say that no one individual will come forward for the lawsuit . And I ask why should they ??
And I think, even if one single or 2-3 people do come forward it will not be possible.
This is the reason we have forums like our IV so that all can come together and take a decisive step together .

This analysis is really excellent, how far do you foresee the EB2-I date going this year. Is there any hope for new people to file 485 this year? People who missed Jul 07 have waited long and can wait till next Sep in the hope that we will be able to file 485 this year.
Spill will be around 30k for Eb2 and that will clear till mid 2006. by Sep 2010. In Sep 2011 you should be able to file for 485.

What I have learnt that USCIS is considering publishing rule ( Via Rule making process ) in dec 2009 to halt concurrent filling for I 140 and 485 and give chance to pre register for 485. so in Spiring of 2010 we may be able to pre file 485. which may / may not give benefit of AC 21 . EAD is always admin job so they can give out EAD and AP along with pre filling.

My I-140 is approved and I have a PD of Feb 2006.
One of my colleague whose job description is little different then mine has a PD of Sep 2003 and his Labour got approved but he left the company.
So is there anyway his approved labor is useful to me. What are the ifs,buts etc.

Pre-adjudication means that this particular case can be approved because everything else (Biometrics, Name-checks and all other checks/documentation) is in place - but a Visa Number is not available to approve case and issue GC

Hi there,
Here is my situation, any help to resolve this is appreciated.
- My self (primary) & my wife's(derivative) I-485's (PD June 2002) were filed in March 2007.
- My I-485 was approved in July 2007, my wife's was pending due to NC.
- My wife's employer filed PERM (PD June 2007) & then filed I-140 in March 2008.
- We recently contacted NSC regarding my wife's case status, we received a letter from them stating that, her I485 is waiting for I-140 to get approved.
They linked her new I-140 to her pending I-485 that was filed as derivative.Is this USCIS error?.How to correct this error and have them consider her I-485 application as a derivative application?.

So our body shoppers are attractive destination for GC aspirants.
The companies which follow rules are forced to pay bench or lay off. So both employee and employer are risk of survival. Companies may be under risk of heavy loss when there are too many people are in bench. That means companies which follow rules and regulations are making loss in tough times at the same time Body shops always make money and worst case scenario no loss no gain. Also GC process is uncertain for those who are working in good companies

Guys...can somebody tell me why they are not counting on EB1 & EB2 row numbers for the last quarter of 2009? Historically, these were the numbers which were transferred to oversubscribed countries, because of which priority dates well pushed way ahead. What's different this time? Even if USCIS works with tremendous efficiency, they cant really use those numbers before the quarter starts.

I too live in Bay area and have been stalked by lot of Amway/quickstar folks, even couple of my friends tried all their tricks to make us Amway members, after repeated refusals they say that we are losers but in fact they are the losers, losing friends day by day.
